Doorways Support Effort - 2020

Through a partnership with Doorways (www.doorwayshousing.org), a fellow non-profit, Happy Healthy Us was able to donate linens to underprivileged individuals in St. Louis. Doorways is a clinic in St. Louis that provides housing and care for people with HIV.

Happy Healthy Us raised funds through a fundraiser organized with a local business, Seoul Taco (www.seoultaco.com). We also collected linens through donation boxes that were placed across the Washington University campus. This linen drive lasted two weeks and wrapped just in time for the holiday season.

Members of the Happy Healthy Us board then met with Patrick Young, Doorways' Human Resources and Volunteer Director, to hand off the linen which Doorways then distributed. Through dedication, teamwork, and support from the generous local community, Happy Healthy Us and Doorways were able to make a valuable impact this holiday season.
